ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Trainings and Standards in Higher Education, Baligh Ur Rehman has said that the government has tried to respond promptly after the earthquake in Balochistan.
Talking to a private news channel, he added that the Prime Minister directed federal minister Abdul Qadir Baloch and State Minister Jam Kamal to visit the affected areas soon after the incident took place.
Baligh ur Rehman said the Prime Minister has relieved Rs. 100 million aid to the earthquake affected areas of Balochistan, and he has ensured the provincial government that the federal government will provide further required aid.
He further said that a number of civilian and military helicopters have been sent to the affected areas and the Prime Minister has also issued directives to increase the numbers of helicopters.
