KARACHI: Sindh Government has decided to appoint 200 law graduates in police department for strengthening the investigation of criminal cases.
This was stated by Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon while briefing the media about the decisions taken in the law and order meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here on Monday.
The meeting was held to discuss the matter related to law and order and performance of targeted operation being carried out in the metropolis.
He said that the recruitment of law graduates in police investigation will help in preparing sound cases for trial in the courts of law.
The Minister said that implementation on Code of Conduct, prepared for collection of hides/ skins on Eid-ul- Azha would be ensured and strict action will be taken on its violation.
He informed that the meeting expressed satisfaction over the outcomes of targeted operation being carried out against criminals in Karachi.

To a question about the duration of the operation, he said that it could be long term and will continue till elimination of each and every criminal from the city.
He hoped that environment of fear will be ended soon as a result of targeted actions of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) against criminal elements.
