LONDON: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that the issue of Shakeel Afridi was sub-judice and the Court would give its ruling.
Talking to mediamen after his arrival in London, the Prime Minister said that they would not take any extra-judicial step over the issue of Shakeel Afridi.
He said Pakistan had the prerogative to take its own decisions and it should exercise its right.
The Prime Minister said that the drone attacks were against sovereignty of Pakistan and during his meeting with US President Barack Obama, he had very candidly and openly discussed the issue.
The Prime Minister, who is in London to attend 9th Meeting of the World Islamic Forum, said that peace was fast restoring in the port city of Karachi, adding, Insh'allah, it would be restored fully.
The Prime Minister said it was policy of Pakistan to support a peaceful Afghanistan.
He would be holding a meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai during his scheduled trilateral talks, he added.
About his participation in the World Islamic Forum, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that he would present the steps being taken for improvement of country's economy.
