Yousuf Raza GilaniISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the bomb blast in a passenger bus at Chak Kamala near Kharian in District Gujrat on Saturday evening, in which a number of people were killed and injured.

The Prime Minister in a message expressed his deep grief and shock over the loss of innocent human lives and conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims.

The Prime Minister said such coward and inhuman acts of terrorism and extremism cannot dent the government's determination to fight and eliminate this menace.

He also directed the authorities concerned  to ensure the provision of best medical care to the injured.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed souls and grant courage to the bereaved families.
