CAMBRIDGE: The European Central Bank continues to expect a gradual economic recovery in Europe, a member of the ECB's Governing Council, Jens Weidmann, said on Monday.
"Our projection is that there will be a gradual recovery, and all the incoming data shows that there is no need to revise that forecast," Jens said in response to an audience question on the possibility of a new European recession following a speech at Harvard University.
He added that forecasts were also for price stability, and not deflation.
