PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' 273-day Treasury bills rose to 3.64 percent at auction on Friday from 3.54 percent at the previous sale, the central bank said.
The Bank of Mauritius sold all the 500 million Mauritius rupees ($16.53 million) worth of debt it had offered. It received bids worth 1.065 billion rupees at yields ranging from 4.77 percent to 3.60 percent. The bank rate posted was 3.52 percent.
