WELLINGTON: Light rain forced a delay to the start of the second day of the Test between New Zealand and the West Indies in Wellington Thursday.
The showers swept over the ground about 50 minutes before play was to start with New Zealand to resume from their overnight total of 307-6.
The first Test in the series was drawn when rain washed out the last session of play in Dunedin last week, with New Zealand 33 runs short of their victory target and with six wickets in hand.
