Ahmed Mukhtar condemns attack on PNS Mehran

ISLAMABAD: Federal Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the attack on PNS Mehran Navy Base, Karachi.

In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that the terrorists by creating uncertainty and chaos, want to harm the national security and destabilize the country.

But, they (terrorists) will not succeed in their nefarious designs, he added.

He termed the attack a cowardly act and vowed to bring the culprits to the justice as early as possible.

Expressing his heartfelt condolences on the loss of precious lives, he prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
