ADDIS ABABA: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and a dozen African leaders began a trade summit in the Ethiopian capital on Tuesday aimed at boosting commerce between the two regions.
"Africa possesses all the prerequisites to become a major growth pole of the world in the 21st century. We will work with Africa to enable it to realise this potential," Singh told the opening ceremony.
