ABBOTTABAD: Continued snowfall on third consecutive day in district Battagram Friday blocked almost all roads and the temperatures became down -8 degree. Freezing temperature bound people to stay at home.
According to the details land sliding, fallen electricity polls and trees blocked the roads and caused serious problem for electricity supply.
Up to eight feet snowfall recorded on the mountains of the Battagram. Different hills including Bland Kot, Hill Shamlia, Ghari Peer Hari, Piamal Shreef, Pashto and Gangwal received record snowfall.
After continuous rain and snowfall shortage of food items, Petrol, LPG and fire wood is also a serious problem in upper parts and Galyat, Battagra, Kohistan, Torghar and some parts of Mansehra district.
While the Pakistan Metrology department forecasted for rain and snowfall over the hills of Hazara divisions for next 24 hours.
