SINGAPORE: India's Oil & Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has offered 35,000 tonnes of naphtha for February loading from Hazira after cancelling to sell a cargo, also for next month loading, due to production problems, traders said on Monday.
ONGC is now looking to sell the cargo for Feb. 22-23 loading from Hazira in a tender that is due to be awarded on Jan. 29.
ONGC had on Jan. 24 cancelled to sell similar volumes from the same port for Feb. 18-19 loading as production at its Hazira complex was affected by a shortage of gas.
India's exports have been kept below 600,000 tonnes a month since November, compared with a monthly average of 660,000 tonnes for the entire 2013.
Demand on the other hand was strong as petrochemical plants in Asia were mostly running at full capacity.
