PORT LOUIS: Mauritius sold 5-year Treasury bonds at a weighted average yield of 5.83 percent on Wednesday, up from 5.70 percent at the last auction in December, the central bank said.
The Bank of Mauritius sold all the 1.6 billion rupees ($52.96 million) worth of debt on offer. It received bids worth 2.926 billion rupees with yield ranging from 6.25 percent to 5.50 percent. The coupon rate was 4.30 percent.
