After a successful Season-I of drama series Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay telecast on PTV Home during January and February 2011, Season-II is all set to present five new stories.

The hallmark of Season-II will be stories on Army Aviation, Special Services Group (SSG) and 12 Northern Light Infantry (12 NLI) besides one on Lashkar at Buner and one produced in the wake of twin suicide blasts that.happened at International Islamic University, Islamabad in October 2009.

First drama of Season-II, "Parwaz-e-Junoon" to be telecast on June 10, covers only one out of hundreds of stories where Army Aviation did wonders during operation `Rah-e-Raast'.

Based on a true incident when pilots of 2 helicopters (Bell and Cobra) covering an Army convoy, found out an 800 kg heavy 14.5 mm anti aircraft gun installed at one of the mountain tops on their routine route. On realizing the danger, both fearlessly eliminated the gunners, lifted the gun and brought it back to their base.

Parwaz-e-Junoon is written and directed by Kashif Nisar and prominent cast includes Maj. Zahid Bari, Maj. Khalid Maooz, Captain Nauman, Nayyar Ejaz, Faizan Khwaja and Erum Akhtar.

Second drama titled "Mehrunnisa Ka Lashkar", to be telecast on June 17, is story of Mehrunnisa, a brave lady of Buner who decided to stand up against the terrorists when they moved to this district in sheer violation of the peace accord. Her determination resulted in creation of a local Lashkar that perpetuated the retreat of terrorists from that area.

This drama is written by maestro Asghar Nadeem Syed and directed by Azeem Sajjad. Renowned artist Ayesha Sana played the important role of Mehrunnisa along with Najibullah Anjum and Tariq Jamal in the major roles.

Third drama, "Ma'arka-e-Chuprial", to be telecast on June 24, is another action packed drama directed by a talented director Azeem Sajjad. It depicts a challenging group action of the soldiers from 12 Northern Light Infantry during Operation Rah-e-Raast in which they overpowered militants, penetrated deep in to their territory and got hold of two vital peaks. This success opened a strategically crucial approach to Sakhra valley for Pakistani forces. This drama is also written by Asghar Nadeem Syed and prominent cast includes Col. Ather Rana, Maj. Muhammad Adnan, Lt. Tayyab Mahi and Imran Rizvi.

Fourth drama of Season-II, "Bilal Shaheed - Ghazanosar Ka Hero", to be telecast on July 1, is about a brave and brilliant officer of the Special Services Group (SSG) of Pakistan Army, Capt. Bilal Zafar. He was known for his courage and initiative. He embraced shahadat during the most important operation at Peochar, the headquarters of militants of Malakand. He led from the front and sacrificed his life in the line of duty - one of the initial martyrs of Operation Rah-e-Raast whose sacrifice became a prelude to Pak Army's historic success in Malakand Division against terrorists.

Penned by Zafar Meraj, the drama has Capt. Ahsan Kyanai, Mohsin Gillani and Seem Raheel as the major cast.

The final drama of the Season-II, "Muhafiz Ya Masiha", to be telecast on July 8, is also written by Zafar Meraj. It depicts the coward incident of twin suicide bombings at International Islamic University that rocked the entire city and sent a wave of shock across the country. The drama is based on original events that took place on that fateful day.
