imageISLAMABAD: State Minister for Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education and Interior, Baligh-ur- Rehman on Wednesday visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and said terrorist acts cannot deter morale of government.

While condemning the Sabzi Mandi blast, the State Minister Baligh Ur Rehman said the country is facing this menace for the last 12 years, and "today terrorist attack was an effort to sabotage the Government-Taliban peace talks.

He said those who wanted to foil the peace process initiative would not succeed. He said that a free society cannot escape all terrorism.

The minister said that government would take action against the culprits and further strict security plan was being evolved.

He conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families and termed the incident a "national loss."

The blast took place in the busy morning hours when dozen of people gather at the (Sabzi Mandi) in the federal capital, leaving 21 people dead with over 78 others wounded.
