SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif said on Sunday the government was playing an instrumental role in strengthening national institutions of the country.
Talking to the media at his residence, he said the government was taking all out steps to steer the country out of crises.
He said the PML-N government was doing politics for the national prosperity and solidarity under the great political vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to uphold the prestige of Pakistan in the world community.
The Minister alleged that PTI Chief Imran Khan was doing politics of conflict by levelling allegations of rigging in the general election 2013.
Khawaja Asif said that it was not time for doing politics of conflict as Pakistan doesn't need such politics, adding that there was a dire need to promote politics for national solidarity.
All pillars of the nation should come forward and join their hands for the national solidarity and establishing durable peace in the country, he said.
Khawaja Asif said that Pervez Musharraf and Imran Khan did their politics on social media (facebook). Now, the era of doing politics on facebook has gone, as there was an elected democratic government in the country, he added.
