Cattle owners advised to get animals vaccinated against diseases
HYDERABAD: Director Animal Husbandry Sindh, Hyderabad, has notified all livestock owners that due to expected monsoon rains in the province immunity of animals could be lowered and contagious diseases may affect their animals.
He advised owners to keep their livestock at higher places in dry sheds and avoid marshy, unhygienic places during the rains and get their animals vaccinated against Haemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) and Anthrax in cattle and buffaloes and Pneumonia (CPP) and Anthrax in sheep and goat.
He further advised livestock owners that in case of any emergency they can contact his directorate on telephone No.022-9200990 or District Officer Livestock/Animal Husbandry of the concerned district.
