FAISALABAD: A sum of Rs90 million have been allocated for 10 schemes of water supply and sewerage under annual development programme of the district government.
According to official sources, an amount of Rs2.14 million will be spent on water supply schemes in two villages Chak No 446-JB and Chak No 468-JB. Rs26 million will be incurred on urban water supply schemes in two tehsils Samandri and Jarranwala.
An amount of Rs10 million has been allocated for urban sewerage scheme district Faisalabad, Rs30 millions for Chak No 202-RB Gatti and Chak No 215-RB, while an amount of Rs30 million will be spent in Chak No 218-RB.
All the projects will be executed during current fiscal year, the sources said.
