QUETTA: At least three persons, including a security force personnel, were killed and 22 injured in a remote controlled bomb blast at Allah Wala Chowk area of Khuzdar district on Saturday.
According to a police spokesman, the blast occurred when a security force vehicle was passing the area. "The explosive device was planted in a motorcycle, which was parked at the main bazaar of the district by unknown men for targeting security forces," he added.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, where one of the deceased was identified as Abdul Rehman.
The injured were identified as Abdul Hakeem, Muhammad Bakhsh, Fateh Muhammad, Zafar Ahmad, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Khan, Zishan Saleem, Muhammad Karim, Nadir Ali, Amir Bakhsh, Abdul Wahab, Muhammad Usman, Ghulam Sarwar, Muhammad Bakhsh, Muhammad Usman, Ayaz Ali, Momin Khan, Fateh Muhammad and Muhammad Akram.
Two of the bodies were handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.
