For the first time, the sons of cricketer turned politician Imran Khan will join him at a political event planned by his political party ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf’ (PTI) at Pakistan's capital city Islamabad.
According to media reports, “Sulaiman, 18, and Qasim, 15, are due to land in Lahore on August 13 to join their father’s rally for the first time. His sons, with ex-wife Jemima Khan, have visited Pakistan in the past but have never taken part in any of PTI’s marches or sit-ins. The two live in the United Kingdom with their mother”.
Sulaiman and Qasim will be taking part in 14th August rally of their father's party for the first time.
In Pakistani politics there is a tradition of families taking part in politics but this is the first time Imran Khan has allowed his sons to get involved in his party affairs, media reported
Chairman PTI has announced that he will stay in Islamabad till his demands are met, promising to sleep on the road with his supporters.
