Pakistan Coke Studio season 7 is due to return somewhere in September and will be produced by Pakistani famous band ‘Strings’.
According to media reports, “So far Asrar, Jimmy Khan, Rahma Ali, Naseer & Shahab and Usman Riaz have been confirmed as new acts for the upcoming season, while the full line up is due to be announced on August 26 in a news conference in Lahore”.
Previous season of Coke Studio was produced by Rohail Hyatt but he stepped down as a producer this season and members of ‘Strings’ take over the production role for ‘Coke Studio 7’.
Bilal Maqsood, one of the leading men of the band reportedly said that he is very excited to produce the upcoming season of Coke Studio and the band has worked for 3 months on each song to get the best out of them.
