Nawaz Sharif, Shah Mahmood Qureshi LAHORE: PPP leader and ex-Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Wednesday had "important" meeting with PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwind and discussed national issues and political situation in the country.

Talking to newsmen after one-hour meeting, Qureshi said we discussed prevailing political situation in the country with PML-N chief.

"I think PPP alliance with PML-Q is not logical and I have severe reservations in this regard," Qureshi said in response to a question.

Qureshi said that the country was facing economic and security issues and it was the responsibility and duty of the politicians to resolve them on priority.

Nawaz Sharif contended that the government was "not showing any will to resolve problems being faced by the masses. Accountability was the need of the hour."
