ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan had failed to make a new Pakistan and bring revolution.
The minister, in a statement here, said Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri was master of taking U-turns like his cousin Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
"Why does Qadri announce a step which he takes back the very next day?"
Pervaiz Rashid said both the cousins were now tired of giving deadlines as neither they were able to make a new Pakistan nor bring any revolution.
He said the PTI chief was now running away from his own demand of investigation into alleged electoral rigging by a judicial commission.
The government was ready to set up a judicial commission for probing Imran Khan's allegations of involvement of returning officers, judiciary and caretaker government in systematic rigging of election to benefit a party, he added.
He said Imran Khan should not back out from his own demands.
