SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that the parliamentarians would not accept any unconstitutional demand of the protesting parties.
Talking to the media on Sunday night, he said leaders of the sit-ins in Islamabad did not recognise Parliament while the opposition fully supported democracy.
The Parliament House, Pakistan Secretariat and Pakistan Television buildings had never been attacked in the history of country, he added.
The opposition leader said the people masses were fed up of sit-ins and demonstrations. He said no extra-constitutional step would be accepted.
Responding to a question, Khursheed Shah said the PPP did not want to do politics on floods.
