Eight militants killed as FC retaliated to their attack
QUETTA: Eight militants were killed in retaliation by Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) as they attacked an FC party deployed for security of Chamalang coalfield in Kohlu district. An FC spokesman said here Friday that the attack by unidentified armed men also left four FC personnel killed who were on security duty of the field. The FC launched crackdown against the militants in mountains surrounding the coalfield which are widely believed to be the safe haven for militants challenging the writ of the government, Meanwhile Balochistan Frontier Corp Inspector General Major General Obaidullah Khan eulogized the services of killed FC personnel who rendered their lives for integrity of the country. He vowed to clear all areas of the militants to restore peace in the province.
