Hollywood actress Emma Stone who has played the lead role in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ as Gwen Stacy has been rumored to reprise the role once again in an upcoming sequel ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’.
According to media reports, Emma Stone will allegedly reprise her role as Gwen Stacy in the third ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ film, even though her character fell to her death during her last appearance on the silver screen starring opposite Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker. The report says that she will appear as a clone.
As sources revealed that ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ will be based on the original ‘Clone Saga’ from 1973 by Gerry Conway which will introduce Professor Miles Warren, a teacher from Empire State University that specializes in cloning and was obsessed with Gwen Stacy. When Warren learned about her death, he creates a clone to bring her back to life and pursues Spider-Man under the mantle of the Jackal because he blames the hero for his love’s death.
Though there are no confirmations yet about the plot of the upcoming ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ movie, fans are already awaiting the release of the third installment of the hit blockbuster franchise.
