Pop star Katy Perry has revealed that she had suicidal thoughts after getting divorce from her ex-husband Russell Brand. Perry said, thankfully they were just thoughts never actions.
According to media reports ‘Prism’ singer said, “'By the Grace of God' is the first song that I wrote, when I was in a different place, I was in a darker place”.
"Sometimes you can be blinded by your extreme emotions. I definitely was looking for answers, and during that time I wrote that song, and I was depressed and it was sad. And there were thoughts, but there were never actions thankfully”, she added
The American singer has also revealed that she wanted to share her darker side of life because she knows there are so many other people out there that have gone through things like that. The song was like a message to all to get over bad things in your life as soon as possible.
Katy Perry got married to American comedian Russell Brand in 2010 and relation broke-up in 2012. Last month, Brand has also revealed that he really enjoyed being married to her. These days, Pop singer has a new man in her life DJ and producer Diplo but Perry has kept her current relationship under covered.
