LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 1.41 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 5334.71 and closed at 5336.12 points.
The market's overall situation also correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 2.025 million shares to close against previous turnover of 595,200 shares, showing an upward move of 1.429 million shares.
While, out of the total 102 active scrips, 23 moved up, 63 remained equal with 16 shed values.
Mari Petroleum Company Limited, Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited and Treet Corporation Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 28.73, Rs 9.27 and Rs 6.25 respectively.
Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited, Millat Tractors Limited and Muhammad Farooq Textile Mills Limited lost their per share value by Rs 9.45, Rs 8.34 and Re 0.70 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 771,500 shares, K-Electric Limited with 745,000 share and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 179,000 shares.
