SHANGHAI: China's Ministry of Finance auctioned 26 billion yuan ($4.25 billion) of 50-year bonds in the interbank market on Friday at an average yield of 4.24 percent, traders said, within expectation.
Market forecasts had centred around 4.32 percent and ranged from 4.22 to 4.50 percent.
The auction yield came in below Thursday's benchmark secondary market yield of 4.2771 percent for 50-year government bonds.
