Pop singer Katy Perry has won three awards at ‘American Music Award’ ceremony in Nokia theatre Los Angles. Unfortunately, Perry couldn’t attend awards ceremony due to her ‘Prismatic’ world tour where she has been playing around the country until mid December.
According to media reports, Perry won three honors including ‘Single of the Year’ for ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Favorite Female Artist-Pop/Rock’ and ‘Favorite Artist-Adult Contemporary’.
‘Roar’ singer Katy Perry will perform at the most-watched U.S sporting and television event ‘Super Bowl’ halftime show. Super Bowl will take place on Feb 1, 2015 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona. Past ‘Super Bowl’ halftime performers included Beyonce, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Sting and the late Michael Jackson.
Perry rose to fame in 2008 with the release of singles ‘I kissed a Girl’. Last year Perry released ‘Prism’ another platinum effort which includes the No. 1 smashes ‘Roar’ and ‘Dark Horse’.
