LAHORE: The Punjab government on Monday approved four schemes of various development sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 4883.133 million.
These schemes were approved in the 25th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi.
The approved development schemes included: two schemes of Urban Development Sector named as Provision of Sewerage System for UC-117, 118, & 120, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 3929.366 million, Dualizaton of Adyala road from Punjab Employees Society to Gourakh Bazar, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs. 369.619 million.
Two Schemes of Physical Planning and Housing Sector titled Improvement of Rural Water Supply Scheme Dajjal, Tehsil Jampur, District Rajanpur at the cost of Rs. 218.395 million and Urban Drainage/Sewerage/Tuff Tile Scheme in Jampur City (Replacement of Outlived Sewer and new Sewer System in Faisal Colony, Shah Jamal Colony and Tattar Wala), District Rajanpur at a cost of Rs. 365.753 million.
Provincial Secretary P&D Waseem Ajmal Chaudhary, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
