Hollywood actor Idris Elba will star as the powerful villain in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, this is the third installment of X-Men series based on the Marvel Comics.
According to media reports, Elba is said to be one of the three actors being considered for the negative role in the Bryan Singer movie. If Elba’s name has been finalised, he will step in the role of Apocalypse, an ancient and immortal mutant.
Previously, It had been reported that Tom Hardy was the first choice to take the part of Apocalypse, but according to ‘The Wrap‘s Jeff Sneider’, three names are being tossed around for the role, and Hardy isn’t one of them by Fox.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ directed by Bryan Singer stars Jennifer Lawrence along with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters reprising their respective roles in next installment of X-Men series.
The most anticipated movie ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will hit theatres worldwide in 2016. While the most recent ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ starring Jennifer Lawrence along with James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman, has earned a monstrous $745 million worldwide at the box office.
