The American reality TV star Kim Kardashain is working with Apple Inc to show her support to ‘World Aids Day’. Apple has recently announced a campaign ‘Red’ in which they are working with 25 app developers to raise money for Bono’s Global Fund to fight AIDS.
According to media reports, users can download 25 games including ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ with exclusive new contents, and Apple will donate the money raised from in-app purchases to the Global Fund. The goal is eradicating the disease to create the first AIDS-free generation in 30 years.
American television personality and socialite Kim Kardashian said in a statement, “Players can show their support by participating in special (Red) events and purchasing exclusive (Red) in-game items like (Red) Beats headphones. As a 'thank you' for their support, players can take a (Red) branded selfie with me. I'm thrilled to support (Red) through ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’”, media reported.
Other participating apps in ‘Red’ campaign includes ‘Angry Birds’, ‘Garageband’, ‘FarmVille 2: Country Escape’, ‘Disney Frozen Free Fall’, ‘The Ellen DeGeneres approved Heads Up’ and ‘Kitchen Stories Cookbook’.
