imageLARKANA: District President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Larkana MNA Mohammad Ayaz Soomro has said that all arrangements have been completed to observe the seventh death anniversary of assassinated Chairperson of PPP and former prime minister, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on December 27.

This he said while talking to newsmen at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, on Friday.

He said that on December 27, Quran Khawani will also be held for the departed soul of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.

He also said a Mushaira will also be held at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in which noted poets from across the country will pay homage to the great leader through their poetry.

Ayaz Soomro said the supporters, workers and leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party from every nook and corner of the country will participate with zeal and zest in the death anniversary functions to be held here at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, therefore special arrangements for them have been made.

He said a public meeting on the occasion will be held in front of the Mausoleum of Martyrs of Bhutto Family, on Saturday afternoon and will be addressed by former president and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari, and central leaders of PPP.

All the provincial presidents of the party and central leaders will also address the public meeting.

He said death anniversary programmes will culminate at Bhutto House Garhi Khuda Bakhsh with the showing of documentaries of Shaheed Mohtarma to the participants in the evening.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Ghanwar Ali Leghari and SSP Kamran Nawaz told media men that special security and traffic arrangement will be made on the occasion.

They said over seven thousand police personnel, including special commandos of Sindh Police and five hundred personnel of Shahbaz Rangers will also be deployed to ensure law and order on the occasion.

The SSP said that senior rank officers will supervise and monitor the activities in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and Naudero vicinities. An aerial surveillance on the surroundings of Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto will be carried out to monitor the activities, besides 50 CCTV cameras will be installed at different locations of Bhutto House Naudero, Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and the surrounding of Jalsa- gah and parking areas.

On the occasion, Bomb Disposal squad, bomb detectors, scanners, jammers, sniffer dogs, 45 walk through gates with police vehicles and mobile will be put in place for security purpose. All activities will be monitored by high officials of Sindh Police and other concerned officials.

DC Ghanawar Ali Leghari said various medical and welcome camps would be established and 60 fire fighting vehicles will be deployed at various locations. He added that medical team along with equipped mobile hospitals and ambulance services will serve the public.
