India has been playing too much cricket just before the World Cup, where they have failed to perform during the test series and tri series against Australia.
India had two warm up matches before the world cup where they lost their 1st match against Australia with the huge margin of 109 runs at Adelaide whereas, on February 10 they thump Afghanistan by 153 runs on the same venue.
Spectators believe that the event committee is supporting India to play its both warm games on Adelaide where they will meet Pakistan in their opening match on February 15. It can add an unintentional advantage to India.
According to local media reports, it is clear, India have got preferential treatment from the tournament organizers as their both practice games have been scheduled at the Adelaide Oval where they open the defense of their title against arch-rivals Pakistan on February 15. It may be added that India have been in Australia since late November and played four Tests against the hosts as well as competed in a triangular series last month that also involved England.
India is also facing inquiries in their line up where they have replaced Ishant Sharma with Mohit Sharma due to injury.
