Australian all-rounder Glen Maxwell follows the legendary Shane Warne to get a hold on his opponents. He scored a total of 122 runs in 57 balls in the warm-up match against India on February 8 at Adelaide.
Glenn Maxwell is expected to do well in the upcoming World Cup to record fifth title. He sparkled in the recent tri-series against England at Perth on February 1.
Maxwell said, “You can bluff. I think I’ve done that with my bowling beautifully. I don’t think I’m Shane Warne but I still seem to take wickets at some stages which are an absolute miracle to me .If you can bluff people and exert that confidence that you are in form, it’s amazing how it turns around for you,” foreign media reported.
Glenn Maxwell seems very enthusiastic to show up his game during this tournament. He can come out as the cornerstone for his team during World Cup 2015.
Maxwell said, “I can’t describe how exciting it is. Hopefully I can provide that little spark that Australia needs.”
Maxwell took serious inspiration and motivation from the former senior players.
Australia will be playing its opening match against England at February 15, 2015 at Melbourne Cricket ground (MCG).
