Legendary cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ian Chappell marked India-Pakistan match as one of the favorite and worth watching game of Word Cup.
Former Indian player Sunil Gavaskar believes that India have beaten Pakistan in all the world cup games they played previously from 1992 to 2011. Both legends mentioned that the neighboring countries are not in form now a days as Pakistan lost his home series against New Zealand in UAE and India just lost his test from Australia, but India is still favorite for their past record.
Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal absence can create negative impact on Pakistani team as he is wicket taker and back bone of Pakistan cricket.
Chappell agreed with Gavaskar and said absence of Saeed Ajmal and left arms pacer Junaid Khan will help India to attack on Pakistan. India had a great chance because they are playing in Australia from last 2 months where they played some good cricket with Australia that is why India is favorite in this game, Indian media reported.
According to media reports, Former India batsman V V Laxman felt team India can easily cope Pakistan, India have more potential to hold the pressure against playing with Pakistan. India had more victory in his pocket in ICC event as compare to Pakistan, Pakistan recently lost a home series in UAE which is not a good sign but he also mentioned Pakistan no doubt an unpredictable team.
