Just two days ahead of World Cup’s biggest face-off between Pakistan and India, former Australian player Shane Warne feels that seniors will play the key role in this tournament. If the major players stand up then they will bring your team closer to victory.
Warne thinks that Indian team has been staying in Australia for the last three months and has not performed well during their warm-up matches as much they should have performed.
According to Indian media reports he said, “India has got some senior players and they have lots of inexperienced players but don’t worry about Pakistan, they have been playing pretty good cricket for the last six months. It’s going to be a massive game. It’s a sold out game and what a weekend to start the World Cup with Australia-England at MCG and India-Pakistan at Adelaide Oval.”
While discussing about the World Cup winning team he was not sure as according to him the winners are always unpredictable in the World Cup.
He thinks that players are very pressurized and under stress when they perform during World Cup. “It’s a different pressure, the fear of losing, what happens if we lose all those things”, he said.
The World Cup will start on February 14, 2015 but the grand battle will take place between India and Pakistan on February 15, 2015 at Adelaide, Oval
