LARKANA: Three-day National Campaign to make Pakistan a polio- free country, started from Monday throughout Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kandhkot-Kashmore districts.
Anti-polio vaccination teams will visit door-to-door, specially in remote and far-flung areas of the five districts till February 18 to administer Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) to 1178250 children up to the age of five years.
The Health Departments of five districts have deputed more than 2795 mobile and fixed teams which will visit every house in those districts of the Larkana region to administered Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV).
The officials of the Health Department have appealed to the people to come forward and cooperate with mobile teams which will be administering anti-Polio drops to their children.
