ISTANBUL: Turkish bond yields rose on Monday morning due to increasing global risk aversion after the S&P downgraded the US credit rating which steered investors towards safer assets.
Turkish benchmark May 15, 2013 bond rose to 8.69 percent in over-the-counter trade from a previous close of 8.52 percent on Friday.
