BUCHAREST: Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom, controlled by Austria's OMV, recorded a 304 million lei ($78.04 million) net loss in the fourth-quarter, with sales hit by dwindling international crude prices.
A Reuters poll of four banks and brokerages estimated a net profit of 60.7 million lei. OMV Petrom recorded a 1.16 billion lei net profit in October-December 2013.
