SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah inaugurated the administration block of Khairpur Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that The KSEZ is a milestone project for the revival of economic activities. It will bring prosperity and development to the country, he added.
The CM said that the special economic zone will create more than 20,000 jobs for the youth adding that local and foreign investors will invest in Khairpur special economic zone as the government will provide them all the facilities.
He said that Sindh government is determined to revive Khairpur's industrial status in the best interest of the region adding that there is a separate power plant for the zone and the zone would promote agro-based industries.
He said the government was focusing on health and education facilities as well as encouraging foreign investors for boosting the economy of Sindh by ensuring all facilities for them, including better law and order.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that Sindh government is mobilising all the available resources to address the problems of the common man. "PPP was persuing a comprehensive policy to facilitate people of all the segments of the society" he said.
The CM said that the basic agenda of Sindh government was to strengthen democracy and undertake welfare of the common people.
MNA Dr. Nafeesa Shah, Commissioner Sukkur Muhammad Abbas Baloch and others also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park at the Gosha-e-Taskeen, Khairpur.
