Wheel-Jam Strike in PakistanKARACHI: In order to have the Commissionerate system retored, Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) will observe a wheel-jam strike in Sindh on August 13, said Secretary General JUI (Sindh) Senator Dr. Khalid Soomro on Thursday while talking to Secretary Information JUI (Sindh) Aslam Ghauri on the telephone from Saudi Arabia. Soomro said peaceful gatherings, rallies and demonstrations will be held in this regard.

He said the u-turn by the Sindh government over the Commissionerate system is an insult to the mandate of the people living in the province. He alleged that the government is making hay in the guise of its conciliation policy.

Soomro also alleged that the government was covering the negatives of former President of Pakistan Pervaiz Musharraf’s regime.
