LARKANA: Larkana District Police raided various places here on Monday and arrested many outlaws, alleged criminals, proclaimed offenders and absconders besides seizing weapons and ammunition.
On the strict orders of Senior Superintendent of Police, Larkana, Kamran Nawaz, the teams of different police stations conducted a number of raids.
Market Police Station, Dari Police Station, Waleed Police Station, Civil Lines Police Station, Rehmatpur Police, Hatri Ghulam Shah Police, Aakil Police, Allahabad Police and police of other police stations of Larkana district conducted raids in various areas of the district and arrested the allegedly notorious criminal, drug-peddlers and absconders involved in various cases of heinous nature. Those picked up included Mazhar Ali Jatoi, Mithoo Kalhoro, Imran Tunio, Hubdar Chandio, Shakil Ahmed Thaheem, Fayyaz Ahmed Thaheem and others. Narcotic drugs, arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
Police have registered cases against the accused and further investigations are underway.
SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz said that arrested accused were involved in different case of crime and some of them were proclaimed absconders. Criminal elements will be dealt sternly, he said and added that the crackdown will be continued against the criminal elements till achievement of the desired results.
