LAHORE: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan called on Punjab Acting Governor Rana Muhammad Iqbal at Governor's House here on Friday.
Overall political situation of the country and return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their homes came under discussion during the meeting.
KP Governor informed Rana Muhammad Iqbal about the development works in the KPK and the facilities being provided to IDPs.
He said that nation was fully supporting the Pak Army in war against terrorism and the war would continue till the elimination of last terrorist.
He further said that return of IDPs to their homes was among the top priority of the government and the process of IDPs return has been started in two FATA agencies.
The return of IDPs in three agencies would be completed by the end of current month, he added.
Mahtab said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif all provincial governments, Pak Army, civil society have same vision against terrorism.
The KP Governor said the day was not far off when peace would prevail in the country including FATA.
The government was taking solid steps for bringing peace in tribal areas, Mahtab added.
Punjab Acting Governor Rana Muhammad Iqbal said the Punjab government was with the FATA people in their hour of need.
