NA Speaker condemns assassination of former MNA Waja Ahmed Karimdad
ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza and Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi have strongly condemned the murder of Waja Ahmed Karimdad, former MNA and leader of Pakistan Peoples Party and 6 other persons in a firing incident in Karachi on Wednesday.
In their separate statements, the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker expressed their profound grief and sorrow over the unfortunate incident.
Eulogizing the services of Waja Ahmed they said that Waja Ahmed was a seasoned political leader and during his tenure as MNA he had rendered valuable contributions for the development of his constituency.
They said PPP has lost a committed worker whose services will be remembered for a long time.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant the bereaved families the courage to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
