KARACHI: Namaz-e-Janaza of the three policemen who embraced martyrdom when some unidentified miscreants opened fire at a bus carrying elite force personnel at Chakra goth Korangi on Friday evening, was offered at Police headquarters, Garden Area, here on Saturday.
The martyred police personnel were identified as Mehrab, Wazir Ali and Ali Abbas, were the residents of Qambar Shahdadkot and Naushero Feroz.
Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, Inspector General of Sindh Police, Wajid Ali Durrani, and other notables attended the Namaz- e-Janaza.
The bodies of the martyred police personnel would be sent to their hometowns for burial.
Later, the provincial Home Minister laid floral wreaths and prayed for the martyred policemen.
