QUETTA: Balochistan Home Department has issued directives to put security on high alert besides providing security guards to parliamentarians.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Home Secretary Cap (Retd) Akbar Hussain Durrani said that keeping in view Attock terrorism incident, in which Punjab Home Minister and several other people were killed, Home Department Balochistan has put security on high alert. "Provincial Ministers, parliamentarians and other high profile personalities have been provided security guards," he said.
He said that law enforcement agencies patrolling have also been increased on all main city arteries besides snap checking on entry and exit points of the provincial capital.
