ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Privatization and Chairman Privatization Commission Muhammad Zubair on Thursday said that victory in by-election was ample proof of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N)'s popularity among masses.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the people casted vote in favor of PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq due to his services.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's (PTI) chief Imran Khan is habitual of levelling baseless allegation of rigging after defeat in the election, adding that imran should accept his defeat
The election held in free, fair and transparent manner and all the demands of PTI had been fulfilled, he added.
Replying to a question, he said PTI created hurdle in the way of development through sit-ins and also wasted time of the nation.
He said that leveling of rigging allegations against government was totally wrong and baseless.
