ISLAMABAD: Special Advisor on Finance Affairs Haroon Akhtar has said that due to the earnest efforts of government, China announced $ 46 billion dollars investment package under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CEPEC) project.
In an interview on Sunday, he said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is keenly supervising the affairs related to CPEC.
He said the government had initiated several projects of public interest including, construction of Lahore-Karachi Motorway, China to Gawadar motorway, installation of three LNG run power plants of twelve hundred megawatts each, and upgradation of Chashma nuclear power plants to overcome power crisis.
