HYDERABAD: Dr. Mehfooz Gaddi and Faisal Khan of Muttahida Quomi Movement have been declared successful as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively from Union Committee No-84 of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
According to unconfirmed and unofficial reports, Dr. Mehfooz Gaddi and Faisal Khan secured 1913 votes against Noor Mustafa and Muhammad Aamir candidates of Chairman and Vice Chairman of Jamat-e-Islami who bagged 472 votes.
According to other unconfirmed and unofficial results, Syed Nawab Ali and Abdul Sattar candidates of MQM have been declared successful as the Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively from Union Committee No-85 of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
They clinched 1498 votes against Jamat-e-Islami candidates for Chairman and Vice Chairman Shakir Moosa Khan and Hasnain Rashid respectively who bagged 426 votes.
